Experience Through Their Eyes

I went there this morning for the first time and immediately I noticed that it was a popular spot.. The food was so amazing! I got the Pastelitos! Ground beef, pollo, and papas. I immediately started calling people telling them you've got to try this place!!! I will definitely go back again soon!

I just had the best empanada of my life! The dough is made with fresh corn, super flavorful, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and juicy and delicious on the inside. Every bite was amazing. I can't wait to go back for more!

Love them! Authentic and fresh. Would always recommend and their food is made with care and detail. I feel back in Maracaibo. Try the papitas de yuca please. They know their stuff.

Must try if you live in South Austin. The empanadas are excellent. You will not be disappointed. They also have some Venezuelan drinks. I could easily eat here a few days a week.

I think that was my first time having Venezuelan food and it was delicious! My husband and I shared the sampler plate, with a mix of everything. My favorite was the cachapa (with a base made of sweet corn, tipped with fresh cheese - yum!) The person who took my order was very kind and explained what the dishes were. We'll be back!

I have been buying pasapalos venezolanos from the owner of Tierra Zuliana before they decided to open a food trailer. Whenever I heard that they decided to extend their business my happiness was out of this world. I was born and raised as a Zuliana. And let me tell you, the food from this establishment is hands down, one of the most authentic I've ever tried here in the United States. Service is always excellent, and despite Venezuelan food is usually expensive, their prices are very reasonable. I am so grateful that they decided to open a space for people who are homesick like me. This is my go-to place for Venezuelan comfort food. I congratulate every single one of the employees of this business as well as Gustavo you don't imagine the change you've made here for austin foodies.
